Sobangan Village Government Holds Community Service Month and Source-Based Waste Management Acceleration Program 2026

Sobangan, iNet99.id | The Sobangan Village Government, Mengwi District, Badung Regency, Bali, once again organized the Community Mutual Cooperation Service Month (Bulan Bakti Gotong Royong Masyarakat) in conjunction with the 2026 Source-Based Waste Management Acceleration Program (PSBS).
The event, led directly by the Head of Sobangan Village, I Ketut Tirtayasa, is part of the implementation of the village development program funded through the 2026 Village Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBDes). The initiative aims to improve environmental quality while encouraging active community participation in managing waste at its source.
According to Village Head I Ketut Tirtayasa, the utilization of the 2026 APBDes is directed toward meeting the needs of village residents, particularly in improving quality of life, maintaining environmental cleanliness, and creating a better and more sustainable environmental management system.
"The programs implemented through the APBDes reflect the commitment of the Sobangan Village Government to providing tangible benefits to the community. One of these initiatives is the Community Service Month and the Source-Based Waste Management Acceleration Program, which we hope will increase public awareness of the importance of maintaining a clean environment," said I Ketut Tirtayasa.
Furthermore, the Head of Sobangan Village emphasized that village development is not solely focused on infrastructure but also on community empowerment and strengthening environmental awareness.
