Kapolsek Batujajar Cup Officially Opens, Celebrating the 80th Anniversary of Bhayangkara Day 2026

West Bandung, June 19, 2026, inet99.id — In commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of Bhayangkara Day 2026, the Batujajar Sector Police (Polsek Batujajar) of the Cimahi Regional Police (Polres Cimahi) officially held the Opening Ceremony of the Kapolsek Batujajar Cup Badminton Tournament at the Sports Hall of the Batujajar Barat Village Office, Batujajar District, West Bandung Regency, on Friday, June 19, 2026.
The opening ceremony took place from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM (WIB). Cimahi Police Chief, Police Grand Commissioner Niko N. Adi Putra, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., was represented by Police Commissioner Asep Yadi Yogaswara, S.I.P., M.H., Head of Planning Division of Polres Cimahi, who served as the Ceremony Inspector and officially inaugurated the Kapolsek Batujajar Cup Badminton Tournament through a ceremonial gong striking, marking the commencement of the competition.
The event was attended by Batujajar Police Chief Police Commissioner Asep Saepuloh, S.H., Batujajar Military Rayon Commander Captain Arm Muhtalifin, representatives of the Batujajar District Administration, village heads from across Batujajar District, members of the Batujajar Police Sector, personnel from the Batujajar/Saguling Military Command, and participating athletes.
In his address, the Ceremony Inspector emphasized that the tournament forms part of the series of events commemorating the 80th Anniversary of Bhayangkara Day. It also serves as a platform to strengthen friendship, cooperation, and synergy between the Indonesian National Police, local government institutions, and all elements of the community.
Furthermore, the sporting event is expected to foster the values of sportsmanship, unity, and togetherness, while encouraging younger generations to engage in positive and constructive activities.
The ceremony proceeded solemnly and orderly, beginning with the ceremonial salute, the singing of the Indonesian national anthem "Indonesia Raya," the athletes’ pledge, the Inspector’s address, the official opening of the tournament, a prayer session, and the closing of the ceremony.
Following the completion of the opening ceremony, the tournament continued with the first matches in accordance with the established schedule. The entire series of activities was conducted safely, smoothly, orderly, and in a conducive atmosphere.
The Kapolsek Batujajar Cup is expected to further strengthen the bond between the Indonesian National Police and the community, while promoting unity, healthy competition, and public participation in support of social harmony and security.
