Kopo Village Government Conducts Illegal Waste Cleanup Along Soreang–Cipatik Main Road

Bandung Regency, iNet99.id – The Kopo Village Government, Bandung Regency, carried out a community cleanup initiative to remove illegally dumped waste that had accumulated along the Soreang–Cipatik Main Road in Kopo Village on Monday, June 8, 2026.
The activity was led directly by the Head of Kopo Village, Mr. Entang Suryama, together with the Village Secretary, Mr. Koharudin Yunus, and involved village officials as well as local residents.
According to Mr. Entang Suryama and Mr. Koharudin Yunus, the illegal waste cleanup program is a routine activity conducted by the Kopo Village Government in collaboration with the community as part of ongoing efforts to maintain environmental cleanliness and create a healthy, safe, and comfortable living environment for residents.
"This activity is regularly carried out together with the community. In addition to cleaning the environment, it reflects our shared concern for the cleanliness of the village and our commitment to preserving the environment," said Mr. Entang Suryama and Mr. Koharudin Yunus.
They emphasized that maintaining environmental cleanliness is not only a civic responsibility but also a moral value that encourages residents to become more aware and disciplined in disposing of waste properly in designated areas.
The Kopo Village Government continues to educate and raise public awareness regarding the importance of environmental cleanliness. Furthermore, the village administration has facilitated the provision of waste bins at various locations throughout Kopo Village to support better waste management practices.
Mr. Entang Suryama and Mr. Koharudin Yunus expressed their hope that the habit of disposing of waste responsibly will become increasingly embedded within the community. They also encouraged all residents to continue fostering the spirit of mutual cooperation (gotong royong) in maintaining a clean environment.
"Regular community clean-up activities aimed at removing illegally dumped waste demonstrate the commitment of the Kopo Village Government and the community to creating a clean, healthy, and comfortable environment for all," they affirmed.
